Hygiene concept

According to the Saxon Corona Protection Ordinance of March 3, 2021, we adapt the following hygiene measures after approval of our hygiene concept:

  • Test strategy: Visitors must present a daily negative COVID-19 rapid or self-test (eg. executed by farmacies or test centre).
  • Number of visitors: Due to the size of our space, we will limit our number of visitors to a maximum of 10 people. This is to ensure that all our visitors have a safe and pleasant stay at the a&o Kunsthalle.
  • Registration: A visit to the a&o Kunsthalle must be registered in advance by e-mail and confirmed by the staff. Spontaneous guests will only be admitted if the maximum number of persons present is not exceeded. In both cases, contact details (name, telephone number or e-mail address, zip code of visitors) will be recorded and stored for 30 days for possible tracing. The contact data will be destroyed after this period.
  • Distance: During the visit, guests are requested to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from each other.
  • Masks: During the stay, we ask all guests to wear medical face masks (so-called surgical masks) or FFP2 masks.Duration of stay: The stay in the hall is limited to a maximum of 30 minutes.
  • Ventilation: During the opening hours, the windows will be opened for 10 minutes every 20 minutes to ensure sufficient ventilation.
  • Information signs: Clearly visible and legible signs with pictograms are placed in the entrance area of the a&o Kunsthalle to indicate the applicable hygiene regulations during a visit.
  • Hygiene dispensers: Disinfection dispensers are placed in the entrance and exit areas. Guests are made aware of the need to use these by the staff present. Furthermore, the staff will take care of the disinfection of critical surfaces, which will be disinfected every hour.
  • Customer guidance system: Throughout the a&o Kunsthalle there will be a customer guidance system in the form of clearly visible markings on the floor, which will show the way through the exhibition In more confined areas, signs will alert guests to approach the works only individually or by maintaining the minimum distance.
  • Sanitary facilities: During opening hours, the sanitary facilities will be closed and generally inaccessible to visitors.
  • Beverages and food: During the opening hours there will be no sale of food and beverages. Guests are requested to consume food and drinks they have brought themselves in the outdoor area of the hall.
  • Period: The hygiene rules apply for the duration of the exhibition ,,Informal City Park” from 16.04.-28.05.2021.
  • Supervision of compliance with the hygiene concept: a&o Kunsthalle staff will be on site to ensure compliance with the hygiene concept. All supervisors will be trained in advance by the contact person named below, which will then be kept on record. This record can be viewed upon written request. In accordance with §3a of the SächsCoronaSchVO, supervisors will submit a negative corona test weekly.
  • Cleaning: The supervisor will take care of cleaning the critical surfaces. This will be done in parallel with the ventilation process at 30-minute intervals.
  • Exclusion of visit: Covid-19 suspected cases will be excluded from the event.
  • German AHA rules: Cough and sneeze etiquette must be observed throughout the visit.
